The work we do is vital to helping create jobs, building a vibrant economy, and contributing to community wellbeing.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled Economic Development Coordinator to lead our Economic Development team. The role reports to the Economic & Community Development Manager for the management and implementation of strategies, policies and projects that develop, promote and encourage economic development and tourism activities within the Swan Hill region.  This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, process-driven individual who has excellent interpersonal skills.

All about you

We are looking for someone with:

• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or five years experience in Business, Tourism, Economic Development and/or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in project management.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in economic development.
• Experience in local government or the government sector.
• Experience in staff management and development.
• Valid Working with Children Check.

This permanent full time position attracts a salary package of approximately $108,000 per annum, including 11.5% superannuation, provision for a fully maintained vehicle and monthly RDOs.
