Swan Hill Rural City Council is seeking an engineer with tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with experience in surveying, design and drafting. You will also have a proven background in the investigation, preparation of detailed design plans, cost estimates and material procurement for municipal works and contracts. You will have strong computer literacy skills, with qualifications and/or experience using relevant computer software programs and applications.

Your key duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Design and drafting of projects
• Surveying
• Preparation of evacuation plans, traffic management plans and work within road reserves permits

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. We will consider applicants without formal engineering qualifications who possess substantial experience in the fields covered by this role.

What we can offer

Attracting approximately $79,313 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation, this is a permanent full time position within Council.
