Applications are sought for an experienced, qualified and highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to provide support to the Infrastructure Services Directorate through effective and efficient implementation of Council’s engineering infrastructure design services.

Reporting to the Engineering and Strategic Projects Manager, the Senior Design Engineer is responsible for reviewing the engineering compliance of planning and building permit applications, undertaking design of roads and stormwater systems, the provision of technical advice, and the investigation of customer requests. The role also includes supporting the creation of long-term works programs and strategies, and various ad-hoc tasks.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and demonstrable experience in engineering surveying and designing civil infrastructures is essential along with a current Police Check (within last six months).

This permanent full time position attracts a salary of approximately $114,793 per annum, inclusive of 12% superannuation and monthly RDOs.
