Public safety and amenity, fire prevention, animals, parking – this is what a day in the life of an Authorised Officer looks like.

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to work with the community to inform, educate and enforce a range of local laws. Our Authorised Officers ensure safety, harmony and good rule in the community. This means using their exceptional people skills to educate and regulate the community, a professional and worthy job by all accounts.

You will require the ability to work alone as well as in a team environment and deal effectively with all customers. Obtaining a working knowledge of legislative requirements relevant to the position are also essential.

As part of the conditions of employment, the successful applicant must have the following:

• Current and valid Police Check, no longer than six months old
• Working with Children Check
• Current Driver’s licence
• An approved COVID-19 vaccination or authorised medical exemption in accordance with government requirements
• May undergo a physical pre-placement medical

What we can offer

This permanent full time position attracts a salary of approximately $62,560 per annum. In addition, superannuation is paid at 12%.
