About your opportunity

Applications are sought for an experienced, qualified and highly skilled Project to provide efficient and effective management and surveillance of projects, project contracts, and contractor activities and internal resources of assigned projects. In particular, the management of project risks, issues, finance, planning, communications, site inspections of project works, compliance with mandatory hold points, and approval of contract variations and investigation of future project issues.

The successful applicant will provide technical assistance and carry out investigations related to the implementation of Major Project contracts, Council Projects and other issues addressed by the Project Management Office team along with undertaking all project management duties to plan and deliver Council’s Capital Program.

You will require a minimum of three years’ experience in Civil and Municipal Engineering environment including construction and maintenance activities and contractor supervision or extensive experience in a similar role. A tertiary qualification in Project Management and/or Engineering is necessary.

Important Information

A current Police Check, no longer than six months old is essential for this position, prior to employment. In accordance with government requirements, the successful candidate must provide evidence they have received an approved COVID-19 vaccination or authorised medical exemption.

This permanent full time position attracts approximately $89,338 per annum. In addition, superannuation is paid at 12%.
