Swan Hill Rural City Council requires an enthusiastic and friendly full time Library Outreach Programs Officer.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and customer service skills, enjoy interacting with people of all ages and be able to plan and deliver a range of library programs and activities in a variety of formats to the community including to outlying townships, schools and pre schools. This position will be responsible for delivering services and programs using the new Library Outreach Vehicle which is due for delivery in mid 2022.

A current Police Check (within last six months) and a Working with Children’s Check are essential prior to employment. A current Medium Rigid driver’s licence will be required to operate the new library vehicle.

What we can offer

Attracting approximately $31.19 per hour, this is a permanent full time position working a 35 hours per week. Hours may vary depending on the library outreach vehicle timetable and branch library staffing requirements. In addition, superannuation is paid at 11.5%.
