An exciting and rewarding part time position (15.2 hours per week over 2 days) is currently available.

The position is to provide Maternal and Child Health Services to the communities that make up Swan Hill Rural City Council. This position will predominantly work as a Maternal and Child Health Nurse in and around Swan Hill but may also include Nyah West, Lake Boga, Woorinen South and some relieving in Robinvale and Manangatang as required.

Applicants will be undertaking a Graduate Position to consolidate Maternal and Child Health education and translate into confident practice. This role is targeted at Maternal Child Health Nurses who have recently graduated or not yet undertaken a role to consolidate training. Support and mentoring from senior Maternal Child Health Nurses will enable the applicant to establish confident and skilled Service Provision.

To be successful within this role, you will be required to be a Registered Division 1 nurse, a Registered Midwife and have additional qualifications in Maternal and Child Health.

A current Police Check (within last six months) and a Working with Children’s Check are essential prior to employment.

What we can offer

This temporary part time position is until February 2023 and attracts $55.52 per hour. In addition, superannuation is paid at 11.5%. Days of work will be Monday and Thursday from 8.24-5.00pm Some flexibility will be required occasionally to cover leave.
